If you haven't checked out any of the Michael Showalter Showalter on collegehumor.com yet, you should. This is the latest and I find it to be the hilariest. Also, here are some gifts and purchase I made recently.

So my mother and father brought me these items: A hammer, because I love to hammer away, happy as an old hammer dog; a tape measurerurer;green rope, enough to hang myself with; a puzzle of a castle built by a madman obsessed with swans; wood screws; nuts and bolts; 2 screwdrivers, one pink and one baby blue; two picture frames and wall mount thingies; and not pictured, the large print version of Doomsday (my dad bought it for me after I explained the plot to him (see post from a couple weeks ago)), a book about A Chorus Line and the soundtrack to go with it, and this book that I bought my mom for Christmas called The History of Love. I then made these purchases over the weekend: Green Shoes; American flag turtle t-shirt; Foxy Brown t-shirt; Blue Shirt; Stripey shirt; weird bowling shirt(not pictured here). All in all, a good weekend for consumerism and the realization of the American Dream.
