No Fucking Cat, No Fucking Cradle

This picture of an asshole made me laugh the first time I saw it. Or read it, or whatever. It still makes me laugh. Maybe its because most books you read when you are a kid and preteen don't really ever make you laugh. Maybe that's why Vonnegut was so beloved by teenagers and young people in general. Sometimes people ask me who my favorite author is and I think, "Vonnegut." But I always say something else. I always feel so sort of bad but like I should have a more serious answer. Like when Steve said one time that he isn't as much into They Might Be Giants because the people who are really into them are annoying. That's sort of how I feel about Vonnegut. He is great, the people who are super super into him are kind of annoying. I never wanted to be one of those people but I enjoy meeting other secret Vonnegut fans and talking to them. I think Cat's Cradle is my favorite.
