These are pictures my friend Becky took while she and her girlfriend Kristy were out walking. What a funny thing to come across on a lovely walk in southern California. It is nice to see hopeful signs in the world, albeit shit.
So things in the world aren't all that great these days. Sad times for some people. But I don't want to go into all that.
Didja hear about the snafu with the press at the white house hearing some of what Bush was saying somewhere else after he had kicked the reporters out? I'm not sure what all he said before they realized the press was still able to hear him back in Washington but the first thing he said was that what he was going to say should not leave this room. I guess it was just more of the same of what he's said to defend wire taps. It was kind of funny.
Also, that Michael Brown guy is a royal piece of shit. I hate his big brown ass. I've heard some of his testimony on the radio and it is so obvious he feels no remorse or any personal guilt for the shitty assed response to katrina and what I refer to as "the hurricane that never happened" rita. Poor rita. Nobody ever did pay attention to anyone named Rita. Except that lovely meter maid.
Sometimes I get political. You'd better watch out!
I'm all through the M's working backwards alphabetically on the downloading my two favorite songs off every album project. Now I just have L-A to finish. More than halfway done. How exciting! Except that I recently started making "back-ups" of my brother's cds so I may not be halfway done if I start on those.
I have to go to a cast party tomorrow. Then we have performances monday, tuesday and wednesday. Why, amandapants, oh why would you have a cast party 4 days before the show even closes? Good fucking question. I hate cast parties. I could go back and find the stuff I've written about cast parties in the past on this very blog but that would take a small amount of effort and also I would probably get caught up in the plot of my own life and spend the next hour or two just reading up what what I've been up to over the last year. So I will just say this: I hate cast parties and if you really want to know how much you can read back to some of my old entries where I was in a play and had to go to a cast party. Then you'll understand more fully.
I will close with one final picture since I have been slacking on posting pictures now that I can more freely with my wittle waptop. Did I ever mention how much I want to marry Jim Shelley? I do. I wish he wasn't in china. And didn't have some chinese girlfriend. And had any romantic interest in me at all. But that is just a detail. This is a picture of him with a mask he made for a mardi gras party. Every year no matter where he is in the world he has a mardi gras party and parade and asks people to bring masks. This one was inspired by an attack on a chinese man that he witnessed on the street. Whack fol the diddle o the die do day.
