I was just about to start my paper for my women writers class using the feminist literary criticism model of Elaine Showalter of the 3 stages of women writers, The Feminine, The Feminist, and the Female, wherein I would totally discount and argue against the last stage when I found out that she is Michael Showalter's mom!! I can't say anything bad about her now! Oh michael showalter, I love you. And your mom.
