I forgot that I hadn't mentioned anything since I last posted about my audition. It went very well and I most likely have a part but they haven't called me back since the day after I auditioned. They called me to let me know that I will probably be in the show but that they don't know what part I would play. That was over a week ago. Maybe they found someone they liked better. I don't know. I have to call them back before tuesday because that is when they were going to have the read through. Theater people are fucking flakey assed mother fuckers though, so I'm not really that worried. My other audition is for the season at the camelot theater where I did the last show. I'll be auditioning for like 6 shows at once. That should be fun. Fun like a hole in my head.
Actually, I like auditioning.

Come audition for our next short movie! We won't cast you, of course, because you're too old and the commute would be a little inconvenient, but you could enjoy auditioning! We'll have twenty-five or so men and women for our audition next Tuesday. I'll feel so powerful, with their fates in my paws.
remember, only cast the people you like. Not just the talented ones. Cast the ones who seem like you could stand working with them for longer than 10 minutes. I think that is the biggest mistake people make when casting. Do not cast stupid people. A stupid talented person will only go so far as they did in the audition. A smart talented person will be better to work with. Unless the stupid person is funny and then they probably aren't that stupid anyway.
