I think you should name it Patch. Or Grizzly. Or Adam. Or John. Or Quincy. Oh! Quincy Jones Adams!!! That would be the coolest name. Or Sam. Sadaam Adaams. How's that sound? Smada Adams. THen you could always ask him or her, "'s mada with you?" How about Lynch Mob Adams.

So The Call has gone out. Come up with a creative name for a baby, male or female, with the last name adams. Remember that his cousin who is just 2 years older than him has the coolest name of Kolchak Russell Murphy and that it's parents are Marya and Alejandro. So No boring stupid names. Like Amanda. stupid parents gave me such a dumb boring name.

Ahh. That reminds me--I named the pig Napoleon.

As for Baby Adams, I say you can't go wrong with "Marigold". I am on a quest to have someone name their child after me and I'm offering 20 bucks to the first person who does. 20 smackeroos, people. Think about it.

Smackaroo Adams

My sister is simiairly knocked up. These were some of my suggestions to her:

Boys:
Zen¢n - a Greek expression meaning "Gift of Zeus." (I just like the
weird, unpronouncable symbol)
Conrad - an Ancient Germanic phrase meaning "Brave ruler."
Elias - Hebrew name meaning "God is lord." (Nickname Eli is cute.)

Girls:
Elnora - variant of Eleanor, a Greek word meaning "Compassion." (Cute
nicknames could be Elle, Elly, Ella or Nora)
Coral - a Hebrew word meaning "Fate, destiny, luck or chance."
Briar - This girl's name is used in English. It is based on the
common English word. (Makes me think of Briar Rose, Sleeping Beauty.)

Ooh, I like Zen¢n. Unpronounceability is important to us, as is cultural inappropriateness (Alejandro is as white a fellow as you can find). We're also fond of alliteration. Alejandro Augustus Adams, Marya/Myles/Mandy Murphy. And Marigold is a fine name. Marigold Adams. And we've debated adding a St. to Adams, to, you know, class it up. Marigold St. Adams. How classy is that? And the bonus of 20 smackeroos adds oodles of class. I've considered Smadam Adams, because I like palindromes. Maybe I could birth him in Yreka Bakery! And we have considered Grizzly. Grizzly's such a good name, even without the added benefit of the pop cultureisms. My mother suggested Alessandra, nickname: Lessa.

Do the Hebrews actually believe that "God is Lord"? Or is the name "Elias" just a big inside joke?

Steve suggests Atom Adams or any of The Lord of the Rings names: Baggins Adams, Saruman Adams, Liv Tyler Adams, Little Gay Frodo Adams.

Also, awhile ago we came up with the prettiest inappropriate name for a girl: Moleste
